I’m a photographer and a former nomad.

I’ve returned to my home town of Woodend after two years exploring Australia with my family. We had the most incredible adventures on that trip like swimming in a croc-infested lake (they were freshies! They don’t bite, right?!), camping on the beach next to Ningaloo Reef, flying over Purnululu and eating alllllll the laksa in Darwin. Without a doubt, it was the best experience of my life. I bought a fancy camera to document our travels and came away with thousands of photos of our adventures and of the families we met along the way.

My son has lived half of his life on the road and so for him, being barefoot and washing in a river or the ocean after playing in dirt all day is absolutely normal. That’s what I want to photograph - those messy, ordinary moments where everyone is able to be free and wild, curious and adventurous.
